The "shot of Moss' legs" project has evolved considerably since the last update. The fake grass that was going to cover the ground became real grass, and then fuzzy carpet.

What you see here is the finished ground on which Moss will be walking. It's a big piece of wood (though it's hard to see the edges because it's sitting on the wooden floor of my apartment) with two parallel slits in it, for controlling Moss' feet with rods from underneath. The fuzzy carpet that has been glued to it will hide the slits during filming. Even from this angle, the slits are hard to spot (mouse over the image to see where they are), and from the low angle I'll be shooting at, they're completely invisible.
